SONGWECOM through the support of IUCN ESARO and IWMI held a multistakeholder dialogue to develop the SONGWECOM roadmap. The even was held from 26th to 28th February 2024 in Mbeya, Tanzania and it involved stakeholders from Water, Energy, Irrigation, NGOs, Academia, Finance, Private Sector, Local Government and Environment Sector. The workshop allowed the stakeholder to review Terms of Reference for establishing the basin-wide stakeholder platform for SONGWECOM that will provide a platform to discuss issues pertaining the Songwe River Basin.
